Experimental cornea 4 hours after the procedure. Macrophages (M) appear on the corneal surface covered by pseudomembrane (arrows). Abnormal keratocyte (AK) with vacuolized cytoplasm (asterisk), blebbing (big arrowheads) and cytoplasmic fragments surrounded by cell's membrane (small arrowheads).
