The p.Gly160Val variant of the VSX1 gene. The sequence of a normal control (a) included the nucleotides GGC at codon 160 in the second exon of VSX1. The missense variant sequence (b) showed a G to T (c. 7672 G > T) heterozygous transition at the second nucleotide position in this codon (arrow), which results in a change from glycine (GGC) to valine (GTC) (p.Gly160Val)
