Clinical state of cornea after UV irradiation upon treatment or premedication with SkQ1. Rabbits eyes were exposed to 312 nm UV irradiation (halogen lamp, 8 W) for 4 days, 20 min per day with or without treatment (a) or premedication (b) with 7.5 μM SkQ1 eye drops.
