The correlation between whole eye movement (WEM) and the cross sectional area (%) of the extraocular muscles in the 21 Graves ophthalmopathy patients examined by orbit computed tomography (CT). After adjusting for age and gender, WEM significantly decreased as the cross sectional area (%) of the extraocular muscles in the orbit increased (R = − 0.464, p = 0.045)
