On the top row, the image and the chromaticity analysis of a case of retinal angiomatous proliferation (RAP) acquired with the confocal LED device (system 1). On the bottom row, the image and the chromaticity analysis of the same patient captured with conventional fundus camera (system 2). The color analysis of the retinal image, performed with both devices, shows that system 1 provides an image with a barycenter position closer to the center of the color space compared to the same image acquired with system 2, whose barycenter is notably moved toward the red channel.
