clinical photographs of a patient with stretched scar–induced recurrent exotropia (50 PD) with asymmetric limitation of adduction (right eye: − 4; left eye: − 1), 23 months after previous bilateral medial rectus resection. Excision of the scar tissue, fixation of medial recti to the sclera combined with bilateral lateral rectus recession resulted in improvement of exotropia to 15PD with complete normalization of adduction in both eyes.
