The mean preoperative CDVA was 0.55 logMAR. The mean CDVA at one month postoperatively had significantly improved to 0.15 logMAR (p = 0.018); the mean CDVA at three months postoperatively also significantly improved to 0.06 logMAR (p = 0.018), and the mean CDVA at 6 months postoperatively remained stable at 0.02 logMAR. logMAR: logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution
