Surgical methods and points in each group. Surgery involved reinsertion of the IO muscle at various points along the temporal aspect of the IR muscle. Patients were categorized into six groups based on the inferior/temporal positions of attachment of the IO muscle with respect to the parallel axis of the IR lateral border.
