The Optical Quality Analysis System (OQAS) parameters in cataract and control groups are shown. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), predicted visual acuity (PVA) 100%, PVA 20%, PVA 10%, and objective scatter index (OSI) were higher in the cataract group than in the control group (p <  0.001 for all, t-test). The modulation transfer function (MTF) and Strehl ratio were lower in the cataract group compared to that in the control group (p <  0.001 for all, Student’s t-test). * statistically significant using Student’s t-test
