The above graph shows distribution of refractive errors in children who fulfilled the criteria for needing glasses based on gold standard eye examination (GSE) results. The criteria for prescribing glasses according to GSE were hyperopia ≥ + 3.50 D, myopia ≤ − 0.75 D, astigmatism ≥ + 1.50 D and anisometropia ≥ + 1.00 D.
