Resistance of rabbit sclera to MMP1-degradation after cross-linking with riboflavin and UV-A-light with different light intensities (0.5% riboflavin combined with 40 or 75 mW/cm2) and different light exposure times (10 or 20 min (# indicate the 20 min time in the diagram)). The amount of peptide in the supernatant was calculated as percentage of the degradation products of the untreated (non-cross-linked) control value after 24 h (each 24 h value of the corresponding internal control patch was set 100%).
