Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves for the parameters evaluated in the multiple logistic regression predicting surgical success (MH closed). The ROC curve of the minimum linear diameter indicated that it had the strongest predictive value. (The nearer the ROC curve reaches the upper-left corner of the graph, the larger the area under the ROC curve (AUROC) is. A larger area under the curve represents a higher false-negative rate and a lower false-positive rate and thus a high sensitivity and specificity. Diagonal segments are produced by ties.)
